Airway Lounge 2nd Annual Super Bowl Chili Cook Off
For those of you that love chili and love the Super Bowl, here we go again with our 2nd Annual event. We changed it up a bit this year, paying the top two chilis instead of one.
There will also be drink specials for different events during the game - not just touchdowns.
We are also doing door prizes again. Contestants are encouraged to bring along a cheese & crackers snack tray. Everyone is being encouraged to have a great time.
Rules for the Airway Lounge 2nd Annual Super Bowl Chili Cook Off 1)Each entrant must bring in a crock pot with the chili cooked, a serving utensil, and ready to be eaten. 2)Entry fee is $3.00 in advance.$5 on Feb. 7th. 3)Each entrant will receive a complimentary drink (well or local beer) from Airway Lounge 4)There is a limit of 20 entrants for the “Cook Off” 5)All chilis must be in place, ready to eat, 1 hour before kick off 6)Each entrant must have a 8 1/2” x 11” sheet explaining the type of chili and its degree of “hotness” or “mildness”.Each chili must be named. 7)Airway Lanes will provide voting tickets to all voters, 2 oz. soufflé cups and spoons. 8)Voters will receive 4 voting tickets after purchasing one beverage from the lounge.You vote for only 4 chilis, maximum. 9)Voters may try each chili only once. 10) Voters will taste the various chili's until the end of the first half of the Super Bowl game. 11)Vote tallies will be done during the half time show. 12) Voting will be done by placing a ticket in the voting container for the four chilis they like best. 13) Votes will be counted after the half time show. 14)The chili with the most votes will win the grand prize, 75% of the entryfees.2nd place gets 25%. 15)All Management decisions are, arbitrary or not, FINAL! 16)No one can vote for their own chili, or for any chili more than once. Those votes will be discarded.
