The tournament this year was held at Airway Lanes and that was absolutely fantastic. Many of our kids, that shoot out of Airway, were able to attend the event that started 9am Sunday Morning. The Youth Shoot was divided into two age brackets; the 13 and under and then 14-18.
I can only say wow to some of the matches. I saw some of the best darts that morning. We had spectators and many anxious parents that just stood by and watched and supported the shooters.
Bleys, that shoots out of Airway with the NODA youth dart group, took 1st in the 13 and under bracket. Bleys shot very well that day and we were proud of his accomplishment and all the others that shot that day.
In the 14 and up bracket, our very own Jake took second that day and he fought for that. Jake shot some of the strongest darts he has ever thrown. Jake was defeated in the end after he had in one match a 140, then a 180 thrown at him. Jake didn’t get stopped easily and he played till the end. Great Job to Jake on his 2nd place.
We would like to thank all the youths that came out and shot that morning you all did great.
